I have brought my dog up by training her with treats as, after a bad start in life, she had some behavioural problems. Unfortunately, at the age of 10 she has been diagnosed with diabetes and i was advised by the vet that she can no longer be fed any treats at all. However, after much searching of the internet, i came across 'My Itchy Dog' website and have been able to purchase some treats for diabetic dogs. They are ideal as they are just tiny little biscuits so there is no danger of overfeeding and interfering with her strict diet plan, she loves them and, i can give her one at a time and she is happy with that.
