I ordered light fittings at 14.00 on Wednesday, 5th Nov. I called at 08.05 on Thursday, 6th to try and to add to the order but was told the order had already been dispatched. I called at 08.10 on Monday 10th Nov as the order still had not arrived. I was told that 'for some reason' my order was marked as dispatched but had not gone, so they would send it 'today'. I received the goods the following day, Tuesday, at 14.30. So the theory and intent were good but in practice my goods were late. I will use Downlights Direct again.
Good prices , fast shipping
Ordered some bulbs 7 days ago, quite liked the website, got the confirmation email after. All is well right? errm..maybe!! Right now its Saturday, and I have still not had an email to confirm shipping as promised. The item was not marked out of stock! Over £7 for postage of 5 light bulbs, and clearly some days still to go, I might expect better. To be fair, I have emailed them and lets hope all goes well from here.
I ordered five down lights in sufficient time for delivery prior to the weekend. I had set aside a day for their installation for my customer. The following day I was advised that the items were not in stock and had to be re-ordered. I didn't get the items until after the weekend, which not only lost me a days work, but upset my customer's plans too. I feel the availability of stock should be displayed on the website at the time of ordering, giving customers the opportunity to purchase elsewhere. My rating of this company is therefore quite poor.

Ordering on the web site was easy. Communication regarding delivery was also good, so you are kept in the picture.
I placed two orders with Downlights Direct - both received within 48hrs. I would recommend Downlights Direct and Inceptor LED lights they supplied.
great lights brought them two three times already couldnt be any better. well packaged and delivered.
Although the delivery company offered an option to pick up from the depot there are very few depots. It would be better to have the option of a variety of pick up oications (as for example Amazon do). Most people are not at home all day for deliveries that need to be signed for.
