On December 5, 2015, I was droving home from my job at Hill Airforce Base and my car was hit by a man who ran a stop sign. I was taken to the McKay Dee Emergency room and the X-rays showed that I had a compression fracture in my lumbar vertebrae. I was severely injured and was laid up in bed for 1.5 months at home with severe back pain. I followed the procedure of working through my local Farmers Insurance representative. I suffered through my back pain thinking State Farm Insurance, the car insurance company of the man who hit me would settle up with us within the year. However, time past with no progress and more bills for my therapy coming in the mail. Finally, on May 1, 2017 I realized I need help and phoned Craig Swapp and Associates. On May 3, 2017, Ben from Craig Swapp arrived at our home with a document to sign agreeing to have them represent me. On May 26, 2017 we had our first appointment with Brad Anderson and Amanda Klinkosh at Craig Swapp and Associates in Sandy Utah. We gave them copies of x-rays, correspondence letters with the car insurance companies, and paid medical bills. Brad and Amanda explained to us what additional documents were needed and told us to contact them anytime, if we had any questions. After our meeting with them, both my wife Helga and I knew we should have contacted them sooner and not waited for a year stressing out about whether the car insurance company would settle with us and be fair about it. Many times, we phoned Amanda to advise us on what we needed to do or what to send them. We had made the right choice with Craig Swapp. They made the whole process and our life so much easier. Both Brad and Amanda worked hard calling the orthopedic surgeon, radiologist, heath insurance company (Blue Cross Blue Shield), Medicare, and car insurance companies to help us reach a settlement. We met for the last time with Brad and Amanda on March 18, 2019 to sign the settlement. They explained everything to us and what they were able to accomplish to reach a settlement. I told them “yes, you here at Craig Swapp and Associates got 1/3rd of the settlement and you earned every nickel of that 1/3rd”. Helga and I are so very grateful to them. My experience with CS&A was excellent. My case was intricate involving Military compensation loss and insurance. It required extensive research and classified documentation. There was no hesitation from Ryan and Jennifer from day one. From the initial assessment and through all treatment the performance was superior. Jennifer kept me up to date and informed at all times during the process. Ryan fully understood the loss and kept in contact with me as the case progressed. Their patience and understanding while getting supporting documentation from the Military was imperative. My experience with Craig Swapp & Associates, specifically with Lee and Sarah was nothing but a pleasure. They were very professional, informative and courteous the entire time. If I had questions or concerns, they answered them in a timely manor. As for the settlement itself, well, I am still in shock at the extremely generous dollar amount I received. Lee got a very nice offer from the at-fault insurance company but knew he could get more. He fought for another week or so and was able to get an extra %25.
