I ordered a light from Affordable Lighting, which was manufactured by a Scottish company, I believe. It arrived on the day as promised, but I expected to receive a text with the time of delivery, not an email, so was a bit surprised to see the man at the door! However, I'm otherwise pleased with the purchase.
From ordering to delivery, first class service and quick. The only thing missing was fitting...... If only!
We were looking everywhere for new lights for the livingroom. Tried many stores and nothing! Looked online and found these at Affordable Lighting! Fast delivery, great prices and bestir all, they look stunning up and make our room bright and airy. Very pleased with our purchase.
We received 8 sinclair wall lights which seemed at first inspection to be OK. once the lights had been installed and switched on the discolouration was apparent, there were yellow fingerprints and stains to the faux crystals. Initially a light detergent was used to clean one of them to no avail. These were definateley a deffective batch. Affordable lighting declined to refund or replace these items due to a 14 day returns policy!! We will be taking further advice.
I ordered a light, it came when they said. One of the components was buckled so I phoned them and they sent a replacement part straight away, no quibbling. Customer service at its best and the quality of lights they offer is great too. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who needs house lighting.

I ordered a table reading lamp and spare bulbs. There was a delay on delivery, but they informed me promptly by email and told me the the reason why (bulbs out of stock) - which was great service. The lamp and bulbs arrived, well packed and as exactly as described on the web site. I would definitely buy from them again.

Beautiful light which is great quality. Has a soft look. No problems ordering and price was the best I could find online. Took a few days to arrive though which I'd have preferred to have been quicker but that's just my impatience.
We ordered and you delivered with no fuss which is always appreciated. We bought however bedlamps that were advertised to be 74cm long, however the ones that arrived was 67cm. Even the other lamps (in the same range) on the website, which we didn't buy, were measured at 60cm. So slightly confused with the measurements.
Ordered a lampshade that was meant to be blue (blue in the photo and blue in the description). It wasn't, it was green. It also had damage to the top of the shade. Although I received a full refund, my postage wasn't refunded and it cost me £12.95. The reason given to me for not refunding my postage was that as I didn't want it anyway, the damage was irrelevant. Be VERY careful opening the internal packaging as you will NOT receive a full refund if the box is in anyway damaged. This is tricky to do as the sellotape sealing the box covers the barcode.. Disappointing experience - will not use this company again.
I called for advice on a product, received comprehensive advice. Ordered lights and paid immediately. Two days later I got an email informing me to within an hour of the delivery time of the lights. Very unusual as I am used to being told 8am-6pm. Very happy with lights

When I started to look for a 'Tiffany' lamp Affordable Lighting seemed to have the best selection around. The lamp I bought isn't too fancy - just what I wanted. Think there were probably cheaper lamps around but this one seems to be good quality.

The light is exactly as described and we are delighted with it. Installation was straightforward. Delivery was several days later than advertised on website due to a high level of demand, the company ideally should have volunteered this information. The light arrived well packaged and the courier service was excellent in keeping us informed about the delivery time.
